Absolutely fantastic glass and fast fast fast food. I also have the settings of the Nikon D200 and Olympus E3, this lens is as good or even better image quality and much higher performance than the Nikon. Is aware that the lens is slightly heavier E3 combo makes the Nikon, but it does not bother me.

Olympus Zuiko 50-200mm f / 2 +8- +3. 5 DIGITAL ED SWD is very fast and makes a beautiful image quality, sharp image size and the minimum distortion and Vignetting. Together, E3 The telephoto is very flexible, fast f-stop and the image stabilizer to reduce significantly the need to carry a tripod. The focus mechanism is nice, lightning-fast and silent. Construction quality seems excellent (although I have not tested yet Splash-proofing) Highly recommended!

You will not find a large lens of the combination of quality, compact size, and price. Olympus four thirds system allows you to lug around a big lens, much less a large 35mm equivalent camera. Speed of the lens at full extension is fast enough to work in conditions that many would be reluctant to contact lenses. Well worth the price.

I started with my 70-300 mm E-520, and although I got very good pictures of the 50-200 SWD was my object of desire. I have finished and I completely Sold Out. This is why:
    * the focus is fast and quiet. No more “hunting”
    * Focus on the picture quality is excellent – sharp and clear, no distortion or objects
    * works much better than the 70-300 and not-so-good lighting conditions (natural, because it is a F2. 8-3. 5)
    * learning curve was a breeze, such as 70-300 mm, it is difficult to use effectively
    * is so heavy as I expected, and I can do about this for a long time not any aches or pains

Most of the pictures from birds, always at hand. I had no problem and I am sure, image stabilization built-in E-520 will help a lot – I also have a very steady hands. Together with the EU-14 Optical (as mine. EC-20 is the next goal I do not want to!) Gives me an area close to 70-300 mm. Lost only to F-stop with this combo. Image quality is much better. This is a flexible, well-built large lens, worth the price.

I initially did not want to buy a lens at all. I just bought a Zuiko 7 -14 mm Super wide angle lens on my Amazon Visa card and refused to take not owe. However, I read that the waterfalls in New York was to be down in October 2008. I had to capture the art of this report had gone before. So I decided to scope the scene over the weekend to explore the possibilities. I Olympus EV 330 and 14-45mm zoom, and I wanted to see if updated. I could tell right off the bat that the waterfalls were too far away to effectively capture this lens, and should be a high performance telephoto lens to capture the beauty of this spectacle, and in addition will make the evening capture dramatic lighting. I received half e-mail at Amazon tells me that the lenses are not interested in selling up to 12 months using the Amazon Store Card. Because I am very pleased to have received only 7-14 mm zoom, so I’m more than willing to take the fate of this lens. Needless to say, using the Zuiko 50-200 mm lens to capture the New York City Water Falls produced results that were spectacular and I was breathing again. I am 100% sold on Olympus camera and lens system, and I am very happy I stayed with this brand of camera. If you want to see pictures of the waterfalls write Baruch College on Google images and you will see that photo on. Enjoy!
