This is a very versatile camera and responsible for most needs. It is a good choice to go with the super long zoom. It compares well for Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1, which is much larger and more expensive optical sensor (lens only twice the price of this Nikon). Panasonic has also higher saturation and contrast of the image with the default configuration, and this gives the appearance of accuracy. Nikon was effective in the automotive, outdoor and the natural balance of contrast. Up to ISO 800 were very strong. You can zoom in a few test shots DPReview forums, searching for “Nikon shots test P100.” or, if this works: [. . . ]
Two states that surprises me the focus indicator system of Nikon. It’s so cool that when the fire appears to show a bunch of flowers blooming in all the system chooses to focus on the matrix. Click on the slide, knowing that he has to choose what you want. Wonderful. Another highlight is the different perspective of good macro, nice wide angle, telephoto and Amazing. View my photos uploaded by how well this camera compares. What Nikon is missing in most cases, descends to a smooth tones and detail in high ISO, and this is what it is like a great camera sensor. Images could be easily transferred to a critical audience 8×10 print, and seems to be better than the previous engines of this size sensor.
Professionals (so far):
carefully indicator system for the small screen green box above the selected objects in Focus = ready to shoot, a red square = not ready
lightweight, easy to be suitable for medium-size my hands.
Articulated screen seems more natural than to turn the page displays (custom lens)
Quick access to describe the video, tracking focus, slow motion (EOM below 240 fps) ,
Hugh zoom and a fairly rapid reaction, 1 ½ + + seconds end to end
outside in the sunlight all colors
course a very good lens in this price range and compares favorably to much more expensive lenses (see images above, many pieces are 16 x 20 pages)
Very good macro-economic diversity (see the event is part of Terry Towel above) < br /> Adequate viewfinder, but very contrasty, the information required under attack.
Cons (so far):
When taking videos, the focus can not remain zoom (I reduced my rating because of this).
No image selected RAW (smaller tools such as Corel Image Adjustment Lab that I correct color temperature jpg)
lens covers protect the system like a car, remember to take it off before you start the camera (to be notified when you forget)
menu system is used for a variety of settings (ISO, color balance), but at a slower OK (Hats Off Canon G11, Panasonic)
Express zoom a wide range of ways it is difficult to accurately crop the image (the same, even if others) would be nice to experience a “boost” feature for small change.
white balance to fluorescent Photos were difficult to make and
Quick Shutter most cases but not all
not warm footwear and accessories for the external flash
Only several viewfinder Minimum aperture is F8 (standard cameras in this category, but it would be nice to see more)
screen does not “protect himself”
have to manually change the viewfinder LCD, poems, even a simple push of button-

I love this camera. I have examined a series of cameras before you buy a P100 and I am impressed with any of them. Then I found the Nikon P90 which I thought was great. He had many elements that I liked, such as zoom 23x, and multi-angle viewfinder. I was a little disappointed with the quality of my image consists mostly of poor quality would be 12 1MP resolution, which most people agree that it is only useful if you take photos that you plan for growth in art. Then I heard the new P100, which was even more impressive zoom is 26x, and when I found a 10MP, and was shot in 1080p HD video I was sold. When the camera came right out of the box I was impressed with the revised version of the P90 that were added to a number of useful features. I have taken many photos so far and the problems have gone on P90 is a superb picture quality even in low light. I love the state faces up to 12 persons and the fact that the shutter is released when everyone is smiling. Camera photo editing software is decent software for the PC is better. I found only one error, that the battery does not last but about 300 fewer flash pictures, so it’s good to get extras, but is cheap and easy to find, e-Bay, too, that there should be an external battery charger, but Also you can find it cheap. In conclusion, I love this camera!

After that much money on a camera will amaze with – it is not. I was tempted to buy this camera zoom 26x. I will return and keep the Panasonic FZ35 me – 12mp/18X zoom. I took both cameras out of the comparison, the Panasonic images were as good or better than the Nikon – a clearer, brighter, more intense. There are also some minor issues, I do not like: 1) the battery is charged with the camera, this means that you can not use the camera and the second battery when the first payments, 2) you must go to main menu to make small changes, while the Panasonic has a “Quick Menu» which allows changes in seconds, 3) go off very quickly. Yes, it can be set at 30 minutes, but then all the ice, I just want to go to sleep so just a touch of the button does not wake up to go through the entire launch. I am particularly natural images of birds, and should be ready when the same today, when they begin to have passed away. I am sure that they are features of the Nikon, but they do not like.’ll stay loyal user Panasonic, and expects to incur a greater zoom the coming days.

I was very pleased with this camera. Yes, many of the images had to shoot the shit, but I was learning in different settings and get great results. It was a pleasure farely control system stability and image quality, especially in a tight zoom shots. I could make objects of dust in my house. Some of the action shots had motion blur. Athletics situation is excellent. It was like a flip book. It was grainy in low light, but I’m sure it can not be processed. . . or not. I never got that far. After holding the 6 days that froze and full zoom. Lamp was, but no answer. I just fully charged battery. I finally took off and put back in (with battery) and slowly stopped and came out of the zoom. What the hell caused not know. However, I decided to go back and get this camera in the market a little longer and experience. Probably was lemon, but this scares me.
If you have money, others look as good or better. So I Feel Fine “is not considered to be an amazing zoom 26x. I say the menu is the simplest I’ve ever used. I am not a camera enthusiast, but it was easy. It also improves print complete, detailed instructions. Video is fine. You need Class 6 for at least the video card HD. Category 4 will have a proposal stand stutter. You can set it to VGA-class 4, and it worked well. Battery life is only so-so. Again, this is only the I believe that my camera is about a week.
In the future, if the camera has tried, and the truth would consider another opportunity.
best pictures with this camera I gave the company was close to the face of my son. It was really amazing. This P, and how to flash, indoor. Another I liked was I got a zoom out from a moving car. P-mode. Very strong zoom lens and it seems to shake up the video, but said this is a typical farely. This Panasonic is much more quiet. That’s it. I was about Wolf Camera. I think it was… fz35.
I hope this is not common. Too early to tell.
Good luck! I think this camera has so many possibilities… but not me this time. I am a little skiddish now.

I bought this camera for my wife, because I know it’s going to take pictures of the new baby are coming. Nevertheless, I have studied the DSLRs, and many people talked about what we should be. I feel that DSLRs were just outside the Comfort Zone. I still wanted to “point and click, but wanted a little more depth and pop icons. Our first test last night when he arrived, we were Sold difference. Close shots of the ladybug is orange tree is in the increase of street lamps street – everything was clear. We took a picture of our old cars, and this seemed the picture of the delegation. Incidentally, I have no idea how the camera did the dirty car clean. As you can tell, I am very pleased with the market.
The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that I am a beginner and do not realize all the camera can do so quickly after the shooting. I guess that will give five after that.
